CMA, PRN - Outpatient Float

About The Position
The Certified Medical Assistant provides a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse, following established guidelines and standards. This is a PRN outpatient float position with Piedmont Medical Care Corporation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program required; alternatively, one year of medical assistant or related clinical experience may substitute for formal education.
- No prior work experience required; alternatively, one year of medical assistant or related clinical experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from AAMA or a similarly recognized certifying organization, or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) certification from NCTT, required.
