About The Position
BrightStar Care is seeking Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) for immediate openings to work with their partner facility in Savannah. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm. The position involves a range of duties including patient preparation, assisting healthcare providers, accurate record-keeping, appointment management, and maintaining electronic medical records.
Requirements
- CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) license
- Active CPR
- tb test within the past 12 months
- at least a year of CMA experience
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information accurately
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Update and maintain electronic medical records (EMR)
