About The Position

Kerten Hospitality (KH) is seeking a Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the overall commercial strategy, market positioning, and pre-opening readiness across its cluster of properties. This role involves acting as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, driving revenue growth, market share, and brand visibility. The Director will develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, oversee all sales, marketing, and distribution activities, identify new business opportunities, and monitor commercial performance. Collaboration with Revenue Management and Operations, management of marketing initiatives, and leadership of sales and marketing teams are key aspects of this position. The role requires a deep understanding of the Egyptian market and proven ability to lead commercial functions in multi-asset environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing within hospitality, including multi-property and pre-opening exposure
  • Strong experience in commercial strategy, brand positioning, and market expansion
  • In-depth understanding of the Egyptian market, key segments, and distribution channels
  • Proven ability to lead commercial functions in complex, multi-asset environments
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM systems, distribution platforms, and digital marketing tools
  • Fluent in English and Arabic

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall commercial strategy, market positioning, and pre-opening readiness across the cluster
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on sales, marketing, and revenue generation
  • Drive revenue growth, market share, and brand visibility across all properties
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, budgets, and go-to-market plans
  • Oversee all sales, marketing, and distribution activities, ensuring alignment and consistency across the cluster
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and key market segments to drive performance
  • Monitor commercial performance through reporting, forecasting, and market analysis, optimizing RevPAR and profitability
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management and Operations to align commercial and operational strategies
  • Manage marketing initiatives, campaigns, and budgets, ensuring strong ROI and brand presence
  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing sales and marketing teams, setting clear KPIs and performance standards
