About The Position

The CLUB Outfitter provides world-class customer service and a pleasant, productive shopping experience. This role serves as a product expert for the CLUB program, explaining the benefits of membership and handling account servicing and other CLUB processes from start to finish. The position focuses on acquiring and activating members, CLUB sales, customer experience, peer coaching and influencing, and regulatory compliance. The Outfitter is expected to consistently exceed customer expectations and demonstrate commitment to Bass Pro Shops’ and Cabela’s Core Values.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0 to 2+ years of experience.
• Ability to stand and/or walk during the shift to assist customers on the sales floor.
• Ability to hear well enough to constantly communicate and exchange information.
• Ability to constantly repeat motions that may involve the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Ability to constantly assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 20 pounds constantly.
• Ability to occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or step stools.
• Ability to occasionally work in noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience.
• Proactively greet customers and present the opportunity to become a CLUB Member, or provide current members with a unique and exclusive experience.
• Execute CLUB operational and compliance programs.
• Demonstrate products to customers and stay knowledgeable about advertised sales.
• Help meet individual and store metric goals and objectives.
• Keep CLUB inventory accurate and the CLUB Booth clean and organized.
• Provide the full CLUB Member experience, including processing payments, answering account questions, and processing applications.
• Provide daily feedback and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide peer coaching, recognition, and support as a CLUB advocate and representative.
• Provide service to all areas of the store based on business needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
