About The Position

The Seasonal Events Associate performs store-event duties and takes on short-term assignments and seasonal events to support the store throughout the year. The role supports a high standard of customer service and a pleasant shopping experience by helping customers identify their needs, recommending products, and promoting programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. The associate also assists with seasonal events, facilitates in-house outdoor skills workshops, participates in scheduled store events, and maintains a clean, neat, and safe work area. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent experience.
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
Ability to perform data entry and analyze reports and ledgers.
Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and other associates.
Good customer service skills.
Ability to function in a noisy and hectic environment with children and parents.

Responsibilities

Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and provide a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
Help customers make buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs, recommending products, and promoting programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, children, and customers.
Assist with the execution of seasonal events.
Facilitate in-house outdoor skills workshops.
Participate in scheduled store events.
Keep the work area clean, neat, and safe.
Perform other duties as assigned.
