About The Position

We are seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based infrastructure that supports our engineering and technology initiatives. You will work closely with development teams, operations, and security specialists to ensure robust and efficient cloud systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Information Technology
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or systems administration
Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Proficiency with automation and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
Strong understanding of networking, security, and system monitoring in cloud environments
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Access (TS/SCI)

Nice To Haves

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to support engineering and technology workloads
Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and cost-efficiency
Automate deployment, configuration, and scaling of cloud resources using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Implement security best practices for cloud environments, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection
Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture, processes, and procedures
Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and recommend solutions to enhance system capabilities
