About The Position

Acclaim Technical Services is seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to support a program in Chantilly, VA. The role involves designing and deploying AWS-based cloud infrastructure globally. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; 4 years of additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • 7-14 years of experience in systems engineering or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with system modeling, simulation, and analysis tools.
  • Experience with AWS and Terraform for cloud solutions.
  • Experience with Java.
  • Experience integrating external hardware data into internal workflows using MongoDB.
  • Experience integrating external database data into internal workflows using MongoDB.
  • Must possess an active passport or be able to obtain one immediately upon hire.

  • Proficiency in various programming and scripting languages is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, implementation, and integration of systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure system specifications are met.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
  • Conduct regular system audits and generate reports to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
  • Ensure systems are designed and maintained following best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system capabilities and efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to current systems.
