About The Position

As a Cloud Solution Architecture Manager for AI Business Solutions in the Professional Services OU, you will lead a team of architects delivering innovative solutions and accelerating customer adoption of Copilot, Copilot Cowork, Agents, and cloud-native platforms. The role focuses on helping organizations use AI to drive business outcomes, operational efficiency, and customer success, while shaping the future of professional services through collaboration and technical excellence.

You will lead through Microsoft’s Model, Coach, Care framework, develop talent, and advance AI and cloud transformation. You will coach teams in agentic AI, Copilot, and cloud platforms; strengthen solution architecture and customer engagement; and guide strategic impact. The role also includes shaping domain- and industry-informed intellectual property, supporting customer and partner engagements, ensuring solution delivery quality, and driving execution of AI business solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field and 8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future; the position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a listed or related field and 12+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in a listed or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, such as internal and/or external customer engagement.
• 6+ years of experience leading technical projects, teams, or functions.
• Technical certification in cloud, such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, or security certifications.
• 5+ years of people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers.

• Lead and inspire the team through empowerment and accountability, modeling, coaching, and caring in alignment with Microsoft’s values and culture.
• Attract, develop, and retain talent in cloud and AI solution architecture.
• Coach teams on building and modifying intellectual properties rooted in domain expertise and industry acumen.
• Champion Copilot, Copilot Cowork, Agents, and AI-powered business solutions across the professional services landscape.
• Provide the team with a holistic perspective on customer and partner challenges, industry trends, and competitor architectures.
• Enable team members to engage with customers and partners, demonstrate Microsoft’s value, and develop counter strategies.
• Set expectations for methodology and governance to drive adherence to Microsoft standards and recommended practices.
• Ensure the team identifies, communicates, and minimizes business and technical risks.
• Lead solution play execution for Copilot, Agents, and AI-powered business processes.
• Accelerate customer time-to-value and ROI through usage excellence and unified enhanced solution expansion.
• Model constructive and transparent engagement with technical and business communities locally and globally.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and bold impact.
