The Principal Cloud Integration Architect provides technical leadership in design, development and implementation of network requirements as a result of migration of internal applications to private/hybrid/public cloud environments. The person should have intimate knowledge of key cloud networks (AWS, Azure, etc). The role is also for a DNS and load balancer expert with deep knowledge in setting up DNS and Load Balancing services. The candidate should have intimate knowledge with various operational tools including cloud-based services as well as traditional ones (netflow, packet inspection, etc.). Responsibilities include the assessment and optimization of system design and development of user requirements. Provides budgetary estimates for client and IT projects, works with other architect teams, providing technical direction and operational feasibility of solutions that are integrated with the existing or defined IT network architecture and services standards, to meet clearly defined technical performance requirements. Evaluates the need for new solutions, collaborates with the architect teams to create prototypes, and works with network, database, operations, technical support, and other IT departments during development and implementation to enhance system resilience and reliability. Acts as technical lead for network team, engineering team and project management teams implementing projects within the network programs and client projects. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and an office within the service territory to be determined approximately 2 days per week based on business needs or company requirements.
