About The Position

The Senior Principal Integration Architect will focus on Enterprise Integration, ETL & Event Streaming | B2B & B2C | SAP, webMethods and Kafka. The Senior Principal Integration Architect is a strategic technology leader responsible for defining, governing, and evolving the enterprise integration and data movement architecture across complex B2B and B2C ecosystems. This role provides architectural leadership across API-led integrations, event-driven platforms, and ETL/data pipelines, with deep expertise in webMethods, Kafka, SAP Integration Suite (BTP), and enterprise ETL patterns. The role partners closely with Enterprise Architecture, Data & Analytics, Security, Product, and Business leadership to enable scalable, reliable, and governed data and integration solutions supporting digital transformation, ERP modernization, analytics, and customer-facing platforms.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelors degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Define and own the enterprise integration and data movement reference architecture, including API-led integration, Event-driven architecture (EDA), ETL / ELT data pipelines, B2B/EDI integrations, and Hybrid cloud and on-prem data flows.
Drive the modernization of legacy ETL and point-to-point integrations into scalable, reusable, and event-enabled architectures.
Establish standards, patterns, and governance for both real-time and batch data integrations.
Serve as architectural authority for: webMethods (Integration Server, Trading Networks, B2B/EDI, API Gateway), Kafka (event streaming, real-time data ingestion, pub/sub), SAP Integration Suite (BTP) (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh), and Enterprise ETL frameworks and tools (batch and near–real-time).
Design and govern high-volume, high-throughput data integrations, including Transactional data, Master data, and Analytical data feeds.
Lead platform rationalization, cost optimization, and performance tuning.
Architect and govern ETL / ELT solutions supporting Data warehouses, data lakes, Reporting and analytics platforms, and Operational data stores.
Define patterns for Batch vs near–real-time data movement, Change Data Capture (CDC), and Data transformation, enrichment, and validation.
Ensure data quality, lineage, and traceability across integration and ETL pipelines.
Partner with Data & Analytics teams to align integration architecture with data platform strategy.
Lead architecture for B2B integrations, including EDI (X12, EDIFACT), Partner onboarding and certification, and Secure file-based and message-based data exchanges.
Enable B2C and external-facing integrations supporting Digital channels (web, mobile, e-commerce) and Real-time APIs and event streams, and Customer and partner data synchronization.
Ensure scalability, security, and SLA adherence for external data flows.
Architect integrations for SAP S/4HANA and ECC ecosystems.
Design ETL and integration patterns for Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Finance and controlling, and Master data governance.
Align integration and ETL architecture with ERP transformation and data harmonization initiatives.
Establish and enforce API and event governance, ETL design standards, and Data schema, transformation, and versioning standards.
Partner with Security and Compliance teams to ensure Secure data transport (OAuth2, mTLS, certificates) and Data privacy and regulatory compliance.
Architect for High availability and disaster recovery, Fault tolerance and replay ability, and Monitoring, alerting, and observability across integrations and ETL pipelines.
