Fortinet is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Field CSE to be a key driver in the adoption of our cutting-edge cloud security solutions (including Next-Generation Firewall, Application Security, Web Application Firewall, Secure Access Service Edge, and more) across major public cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), within the South East US region. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Customers, Account Managers, Solutions Engineers, Territory Leaders, and Cloud Consulting Architects to design and deliver well-architected cloud security solutions that address critical business needs.

Requirements

2 years of experience in the design and implementation of Public Cloud services on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc
Experience in network security concepts and technologies, including VPN, Proxies, Authentication mechanisms (e.g., SAML, OAuth), and Firewall principles.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and orchestration tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
Proven presentation and public speaking skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences of varying sizes and technical backgrounds.
General understanding of cloud marketplace dynamics and private offers within public cloud platforms is a plus.
Experience with containerization technologies including Kubernetes and Docker, and their security implications in cloud environments.
Awareness and practical understanding of APIs and applications in cloud environments
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion.
Technical experience and understanding of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platforms and their components (e.g., SWG, CASB, ZTNA) is a significant plus.
Willingness and ability to travel as required for customer engagements, internal meetings and cloud marketing events.

Nice To Haves

Scripting experience with a major language such as Python
Understanding of database services such as DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.
Ability to use data structures such as yaml, XML, JSON
Experience with effective evaluation process and closure

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance on Public Cloud matters to regional sellers and customers
Use and demonstrate automation services for cloud service provisioning
Translate business requirements into technical requirements
Design complex cloud networking architectures satisfying CSP best practices
Conduct proof of concepts
Lead customer-facing presentations
Lead training activities for internal partners and customers
Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud security threats, trends, and Fortinet product updates relevant to public cloud environments
