About The Position

Highway 407 ETR is an all-electronic open-access toll highway located in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada, spanning 108 kilometres from Burlington in the west to Pickering in the east. 407 International Inc. is the sole shareholder of 407 ETR and is owned by Cintra Global S.E. (48.29%), Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (44.20%), and Public Sector Pension Investment Board (7.51%). Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university/college program (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, Business, or related)
• Knowledge of Cloud services and concepts (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript or equivalent coding language(s)
• Knowledge of automated code build, test, deploy activities, using Jenkins, Docker
• Familiarity with text markup languages and data formats (YAML, JSON, Markdown etc.)
• Familiarity with using version control, i.e. Git, SVN, etc.
• Familiarity with databases, i.e. relational, no-SQL, etc.
• Solid communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Review and approve cloud designs and deployments
• Assist with cloud deployments as necessary
• Communicate both with members of your team as well as members of the various teams in the IT department
• Enhance and support shared cloud infrastructure
• Develop and improve automated tasks
• Having fun while learning a ton!
