Senior/Mid Cloud Engineer
About The Position

As part of a high-performing team, the selected candidate will manage an enterprise AWS environment supporting the development, deployment and operational of a backend system for thousands of mobile app users. An ideal candidate will have experience with Infrastructure as Code capabilities like Terraform. A normal day will include running our CI/CD pipeline and other DevOps functions as well as supporting developers with new features and releases. This position is onsite with our customer in Huntsville, Alabama, or Quantico, Virginia (scheduled to move to Huntsville, Alabama by December 2027), with the opportunity to request a hybrid schedule (1 day per week remote) after the initial 90 days. This position requires regular onsite attendance at one of the listed work locations. Applicants who do not currently reside within commuting distance should describe how they would satisfy this requirement. This position requires an existing Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI accesses with a polygraph.
Requirements
- Minimum of Four (4) years of experience in AWS Services EC2, S3, VPC, CloudWatch, Cloud Trail, IAM, ELB/ALB
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Use of Git to manage scripts, workbooks and other infrastructure configs.
- Infrastructure as Code experience
- Collaborating closely with teams of developers for application development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Existing Top Secret clearance
- Ability to obtain SCI accesses with a polygraph.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or 7 years of experience in related fields
- Experience with the Terraform and AWS CLI.
- Experience with GitLab Runners
- Experience with DevOPS processes and CI/CD pipelines
