About The Position

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and securing a container platform that meets client needs and leverages cloud capabilities. You will help develop container management software to solve tough client challenges, strengthen your skills using the latest cloud technologies, and look for ways to improve client environments with current container software for seamless orchestration. You will support your team by informing strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process, and recommending resources to help clients manage and securely adopt containers. You will gain DevOps skills and experience while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments.
  • 4+ years of experience deploying and managing infrastructure in AWS environments, including EC2, EKS, ECS, and Lambda.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and automation tools, including Terraform and Gitlab CI / CD.
  • Experience with DevOps, Git repositories, and CI / CD leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to configure AWS cloud environments.
  • Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, AWS, or Jenkins.
  • Experience developing, managing, and securing containers.
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • HS diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or JavaScript, for automation purposes.
  • Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.
  • Knowledge of creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Linux Shell Script.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
