About The Position

As a platform DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you’ll strengthen your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform knowledge, you’ll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process. You’ll work with your team to recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
  • 4+ years of experience deploying and managing infrastructure in AWS environments, including EC2, EKS, ECS, and Lambda
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and automation tools, including Terraform and Gitlab CI/CD
  • Experience with DevOps, Git repositories, and CI/CD leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to configure AWS cloud environments
  • Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, AWS, or Jenkins
  • Experience developing, managing, and securing containers
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or JavaScript, for automation purposes
  • Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
  • Knowledge of creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Linux Shell Script
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
