About The Position

Everforth ECS is hiring two Cloud Engineer II employees to work in its Maxwell-Gunter Annex, Alabama office. The role supports the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) Team and Facility Equipment Maintenance (FEM) Team. The selected candidate will design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services to provide secure, scalable, high-performance environments; build automation; optimize cloud resources; support application migration; and collaborate with development and operational teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions. Candidates should communicate effectively in writing and verbally, have strong interpersonal skills, and be self-motivated and innovative in a fast-paced environment. An active Secret Clearance must be held and maintained.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree.
• Active Secret Clearance that must be maintained.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• DoD 8140 Code 632 Intermediate qualification.
• AWS and Azure administration within Cloud One.
• Knowledge of compute, storage, networking, IAM, monitoring, logging, backup, and recovery.
• Experience with CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or Terraform.
• Experience with OpenShift and Helm.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivation and innovation in a fast-paced environment.
