About The Position

The Cloud Engineer I participates in managing cloud-based workloads. Under the direction of senior team members, this role assists with deploying and managing workloads on various cloud platforms. The position also supports cloud infrastructure and applications, incorporates security requirements into workload implementations, and helps improve infrastructure performance, security, and cost efficiency. The role maintains environment documentation, runbooks, and business continuity policies for cloud workloads, while providing project and customer support and collaborating with business units.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and experience.
0–2 years of related experience.
Ability to write and maintain scripts using languages such as Python and PowerShell.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Azure experience.
Cloud certifications.

Responsibilities

Deploy and manage cloud-based solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage workloads being migrated to and deployed in the cloud.
Automate tasks and processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications to support high availability, reliability, and security.
Incorporate security requirements into workload implementations.
Continuously evaluate and improve cloud infrastructure performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Maintain environment documentation and runbooks.
Maintain and implement business continuity policies for cloud workloads.
Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
Provide support for projects related to the area of expertise.
Provide exceptional customer service by understanding and anticipating customer needs.
Demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude toward company and department goals.
Actively support collaboration with business units.
Manage relationships within the business to promote customer service and support the organization.
