About The Position

Oracle is seeking a creative and motivated Cloud Data Platform Sales Representative for the SLED (State & Local Government) sector in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. This role involves identifying, qualifying, and delivering Oracle’s end-to-end cloud products and solutions across PaaS and IaaS. The position requires developing new accounts and growing existing ones, creating account plans, and collaborating with sales teams and partners to meet customer needs. The representative will act as a trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision-makers, driving company strategy within their assigned territory. Responsibilities include adhering to sales methodologies, ensuring sales programs are executed, and achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for cloud and on-prem solutions. This is a leading individual contributor role that may involve frequent travel and requires complex problem-solving with advanced technical and business skills.

Requirements

  • 5 plus years relevant work experience.
  • BS/BA preferred.
  • Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
  • Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and deliver Oracle’s end-to-end cloud products and solutions across PaaS and IaaS pillars via private or public cloud.
  • Develop and execute the account plan to drive goal attainment in assigned territory.
  • Coordinate with other members of the sales team (employees and partners) to support account sales and business development strategies.
  • Identify and engage the appropriate partner to meet customer specifications.
  • Become a trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers.
  • Drive company strategy into assigned accounts.
  • Follow all companies' methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit.
  • Ensure that the company's sales programs are known and completed in assigned territory, including personal follow-up and engagement in selected opportunities.
  • Achieve or exceed the quarterly and annual sales goals for both cloud solutions and their respective on-prem solutions.
  • May travel frequently.
