Nightwing is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Cloud Business Operations Lead to take responsibility for orchestrating technical execution, subcontractor management, financial integration, and client reporting across multi-cloud environments. This role is mission-critical, serving as the bridge between internal teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of program objectives. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, a meticulous data manager, and thrives in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.

Requirements

  • Cloud-Based Operations Management: At least 5 years of experience managing cloud-based services or operations, including oversight of multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, and others).
  • Subcontractor Relationship Management: 5+ years of experience managing subcontractor relationships, ensuring accountability for deliverables, resolving reporting issues, and coordinating workflows.
  • Data Auditing and Reporting: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data auditing and generating executive reporting, with the ability to consolidate, validate, and interpret complex data for leadership.
  • Cloud Service Provisioning: 3+ years of hands-on experience provisioning accounts on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managing access controls and security in enterprise settings.
  • Procurement Lifecycle Management: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working with procurement workflows, including purchase orders, requisitions, and vendor payment cycles.
  • Financial Analysis and Cloud Usage Analytics: At least 3–5 years of experience monitoring cloud consumption trends, forecasting budgets, and advising on funding requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on expertise in cloud service provisioning, lifecycle management, and multi-factor secure access practices.
  • Strong familiarity with centralized credential management systems for secure storage and sharing.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate across subcontractor teams.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Certified, or other cloud-related certifications.
  • Relevant certifications are strongly preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer)

Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder & Subcontractor Orchestration Vendor Accountability: Act as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, ensuring accountability for deliverables and workflow optimization across internal and external teams.
  • Performance Auditing: Consolidate, validate, and audit subcontractor data, proactively identifying reporting gaps and ensuring 100% accuracy before submission.
  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate across multiple vendors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and deadline adherence while managing interpersonal and team dynamics.
  • Technical Account & Cloud Administration Account Lifecycle Operations: Manage the lifecycle of hundreds of Cloud Service Provider (CSP) accounts, including provisioning, access control, and monitoring usage activity via portals.
  • Multi-Platform Management: Oversee cloud usage across platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Cloudflare, cross-referencing reports for accuracy with subcontractor and vendor billing.
  • Security Compliance: Maintain a centralized repository for account credentials and program data while ensuring compliance with security protocols and access restrictions.
  • Financial & Contractual Oversight Procurement Management: Collaborate with Finance and Supply Chain teams to track Purchase Orders (POs), Purchase Requisitions (PRs), and vendor payments to ensure the financial health and scalability of the program.
  • Usage Analytics: Assess cloud consumption trends and provide real-time updates on budget burn rates and scaling requirements.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Develop monthly usage projections, support invoice management, and provide proactive funding recommendations to leadership and financial teams.
  • Executive Reporting & Communication Customer Reporting: Convert raw, inconsistent, or conflicting data into concise, polished, and accurate executive summaries for customers.
  • Leadership Collaboration: Deliver contractually required reports and updates, ensuring leadership has actionable insights to drive program success.
