About The Position

The Apparel Processing Outfitter processes apparel merchandise shipments from receipt through stocking on the sales floor and in receiving. The role follows visual merchandising and MPS standards, uses inventory management systems, replenishes merchandise, and supports an organized backroom and a pleasant customer shopping experience. Work is performed under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and recommendations on work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use company computer systems and devices, including System Two, RF/Gizmo devices, and the Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to process and organize information, including plan-o-grams, visual guides, and merchandising standards.
• Ability to review replenishment reports to organize merchandise for filling the sales floor.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and other outfitters.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to use ladders and/or lifts as needed.
• Ability to walk and stand regularly, perform computer work, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process apparel merchandise upon receipt, following Visual Merchandising and MPS standards and using the inventory management system.
• Replenish merchandise on the sales floor according to Visual Merchandising standards and inventory system information.
• Stay informed about advertised sales to support backroom organization and replenishment.
• Unload trucks as needed.
• Assist with merchandise pricing maintenance and signage.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, organized, and stocked with supplies.
• Keep backstock merchandise organized and accessible.
• Provide exceptional customer service and help ensure a pleasant shopping experience for guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
