About The Position

The Closing Team Member delivers friendly customer service, helps customers shop and locate products, and provides solutions. The role ensures fast, friendly checkout, supports store recovery and merchandising, and assists with truck unloading, stocking, and other store operations. Team Members may also be cross-trained in Custom Framing sales and production and perform other duties as assigned.

The position is based in a public retail store. Public areas are climate controlled, while some stock rooms may not be. Work may take place outdoors when retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. The frame shop contains a glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings. Applicants in the U.S. must meet applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including being at least 16 years old.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and find solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash according to standards.
• Promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with omnichannel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including returns/go-backs and general store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow standard operating procedures, company programs, policies, and standards to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Interact with others respectfully, remain positive in difficult situations, promote the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a positive role model.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
