About The Position

Dave’s Hot Chicken is seeking a Closing Shift Manager who is cool under pressure and possesses strong leadership skills. This role involves managing the dinner rush, coaching the team, and providing excellent guest service. The Closing Shift Manager is responsible for setting the pace, coaching the crew, owning the shift, and ensuring a positive and energetic environment. Requirements

• Detail-obsessed and thrive in a fast-paced, structured environment
• Can communicate clearly, coach patiently, and keep your cool under pressure
• 6–12 months of restaurant or retail leadership experience
• Can lift 50–75 lbs (aka, a saucy amount of chicken) and be on your feet for long shifts
• 18+ with a food handler’s card and a hunger to grow

Responsibilities

• Leading the flock and keeping your shift cluckin' smoothly
• Making sure every guest walks out saying “That was fire”
• Delegating like a boss (because teamwork makes the heat work)
• Managing food safety, quality, and speed — without breaking a sweat
• Training crew members until they’re just as crispy and golden as our tenders
• Keeping the vibe upbeat and organized (even when the line's out the door)
• Handling money, inventory, and shift schedules like a spicy spreadsheet ninja
