About The Position

Marshalls is hiring seasonal Closing Retail Associates. The role is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience through engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Associates adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs.

The position supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; accurately processes purchases and returns; promotes credit and loyalty programs; follows merchandising and merchandise-processing procedures; and helps maintain store recovery, cleanliness, and safety standards. Associates provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback, follow labor laws and company policies, and contribute to shrink-reduction programs. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and following customer experience principles.
• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
