About The Position
Marshalls is hiring seasonal Closing Retail Associates to help deliver a highly satisfied customer experience, maintain a clean and organized store, and follow operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards. Associates may be cross-trained in multiple areas to support business needs. The role includes customer service, cashiering, merchandising, merchandise processing, store recovery, and participation in safety and shrink-reduction efforts. The position is at Marshalls Store 1007 in Mechanicsville, Virginia. The starting pay range is USD $13.50 to $14.00 per hour; actual pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
- Give and receive recognition and constructive feedback.
- Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
