About The Position

Closing Coordinator We are in the business of home ownership and are looking for a Closing Coordinator who will find a career home with us. This non-exempt role is for someone who enjoys customer service and working in a fast-paced, team-centered environment as you will be responsible for collaborating with multiple parties to facilitate the closing process in a timely manner. NY Applicants hourly range $26.44 - $31.00.

Requirements

  • High-school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-5 years of experience within real estate or mortgage industry
  • Working knowledge of real estate titles, deed preparation, and closings
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated: ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to multitask
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating all aspects of finalizing the loan closing process.
  • Communicating with clients, borrowers, internal staff, and outside agencies to facilitate all closing issues in a timely manner, consistent with company-defined standards.
  • Processing and Quality Assurance: Review Closing Instructions and prepare Closing Disclosure/ALTA Audit Loan Documents before closing for accuracy.
  • Coordinating closing with borrowers, agents and attorneys.
  • Confirming closings and working with clients borrowers to resolve any issues.
  • Pre-balancing files for disbursement of funds.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and client requirements through extreme attention-to-detail in preparation of closing documentation.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Review and manage daily reporting and dashboards for CD prep, closings and disbursements.
  • Communicating openly and respectfully with clients, team members, and leaders.
  • Working with agents, attorneys, borrowers and lenders to confirm closing details.
  • Acting as a liaison for borrowers, assisting with questions/concerns throughout process.
  • Managing and supporting lender relationships.
  • Additional duties, as assigned.
