Job Summary: The Closing Coordinator is responsible for efficiently managing all aspects of the real estate closing process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of transactions. This role acts as a central point of contact for all parties involved, facilitating a smooth and positive experience.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of real estate closing procedures, terminology, and legal documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and real estate specific software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track all closing activities from contract execution to post-closing follow-up.
  • Communicate regularly with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, title companies, and attorneys to ensure all necessary documentation and information are exchanged promptly.
  • Review purchase agreements, title commitments, and other closing documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Schedule and confirm closing appointments, ensuring all parties are aware of the time, date, and location.
  • Facilitate the resolution of any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the closing process.
  • Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical files for all transactions.
  • Adhere to all applicable real estate laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
