About The Position

The Senior Closing Coordinator – Servicing will need to coordinate, monitor, and help resolve closing and pre-closing issues among multiple platforms including client relations, legal, underwriting, and servicing. The Senior Closing Coordinator will also work closely with Servicing Loan Administration to ensure accurate recording of modifications to the loan. Requirements

  • Proven track record in managing loan servicing processes, including closing, post-closing, and handling special requests.
  • Skilled in using loan management systems like McCracken or similar platforms to update loan information and track compliance.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues in loan documentation and processing efficiently.
  • Capable of effectively collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and legal counsel to ensure smooth loan processing and compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 0-3 years of experience in a similar position

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all necessary loan information screens/fields with new borrower information or other loan modifications are updated; Complete forms necessary to deposit all loan deposits, apply Special Requests fees; Pay all 3rd party invoices associated with the transaction; Ensure YTD Assumption Tracking Report is updated as necessary for yearend reporting purposes.
  • Engage with Legal Counsel; Review all draft loan documents and make relevant changes; Review loan documents for accuracy and proper signature blocks.
  • Review title and survey issues, facilitate issue resolution; Coordinate Insurance review resolving any issues that may arise; Research, calculate and verify Escrow information; Verify all business terms and legal points as outlined in the Application, Credit Memorandum, and Approvals have been properly reflected in the final Loan Documents; Determine that all loan conditions outlined in the Application, Credit Memorandum, and Approvals have been satisfied before closing. Coordinate with legal counsel and title company to ensure the settlement sheet is accurate and documents are recorded.
  • Compile documents/forward original documents to the Trustee and Imaging.
  • Communicate all important changes that may occur during the course of the loan that will assist Client Relations; Assist Portfolio Manager in the compilation of information/documentation for assumptions and transfers; Update Special Requests tracking system and other external/internal portals as may be required.
  • Coordinate documents and information delivery with the GSEs, Investors, Servicers and other external parties as applicable.
  • Post-close all Special Request consent matters as needed (i.e. Assumptions, Transfers, Partial Releases, Easements, Condemnations, Escrow disbursements, Property Alterations, Solar Panel installations, Secondary Financing and all other consent matters.)
  • Proactively manage a pipeline of various transaction types.
  • Other duties as assigned.
