About The Position

As a Closing Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for customers and real estate agents on specific transactions. You will interact and correspond as the main point of contact for buyers, sellers, and agents during the settlement process. You will manage each file from start to finish, ensuring each team member completes their workflow and that the process stays organized and all contract contingencies are being met. You will obtain pertinent info from clients and agents for the title department to clear the title and deliver a great customer experience while guiding clients and agents through the closing process. You will also answer our main phone line, explain title quotes, title insurance, and the settlement process to current and potential clients. This role involves overseeing title and closing for all residential projects/clients in your market, managing assigned tasks for yourself and your support team, verifying title clearance of assigned files prior to closing, and working with the support team on title defects and issues, as well as a review of all entity documents for sufficiency. Additionally, you will review closing documents prior to and after closing to ensure completeness and accuracy, ensure the file is balanced before sending to the funding, and ensure that documents for recording are complete and ready to record before sending to post-closing.

Requirements

  • A strong customer service background
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to be organized in a fast-paced environment
  • 2+ years of experience as an Escrow Officer or related role, working Florida residential files
