About The Position

The Beauty Advisor drives sales and delivers a positive customer experience through excellent service, client relationships, product applications, and customized recommendations. The role calls for enthusiasm for the beauty and fragrance industry, competitive drive, and confidence in a fast-paced commission environment. This is an hourly, part-time position. The Beauty Advisor provides personalized consultations and product recommendations, supports promotions and customer outreach, and uses selling tools and digital devices to create a seamless omnichannel experience. The role also includes maintaining product knowledge and beauty artistry skills, merchandising and replenishing products, supporting store fulfillment and asset protection processes, and contributing to a positive store culture.

Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to regularly move around all store areas and remain accessible to customers.
Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products, as well as lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
Comfort with and enjoyment of assisting customers with makeup application and skincare services.
Must maintain required professional licenses and certifications, including applicable state-specific demonstrator or cosmetology licenses required by state and local regulatory boards.

Responsibilities

Take ownership, show accountability and initiative, and help achieve store objectives and personal and store key metrics.
Build genuine relationships with team members, vendors, customers, and the community to create memorable store experiences.
Build customer loyalty through excellent service, personalized consultations, clienteling tools, and product recommendations tailored to customer needs and preferences.
Execute promotions, special events, and customer outreach to maximize performance and drive sales.
Use selling tools and digital devices to provide a seamless omnichannel experience and communicate confidently about inventory, assortment, and product details.
Use training tools, brand resources, and feedback to develop product knowledge, suggestive selling behaviors, artistry skills, and expertise in industry tips and beauty trends.
Encourage repeat client interactions as a knowledgeable and trusted resource.
Merchandise and replenish products promptly, and maintain visual merchandising, signing, and beauty hygiene standards in accordance with vendor and company directives.
Contribute to a positive store culture by connecting with teammates, sharing knowledge, and celebrating individual and team achievements.
Adapt to changing circumstances and support selling and store operations by assisting with other assigned tasks.
Support store fulfillment and asset protection initiatives by accurately and efficiently completing omni and operations processes, maintaining product protection standards, and following safety guidelines.
