About The Position

As a member of Bournewood Health Systems’ Outpatient team, the Clinician provides group therapy, group psychoeducation, case management, individual clinical support, and family therapy based on the needs of each case. The role includes direct clinical care, support and direction for clinical staff and counseling services teams, treatment documentation, crisis intervention, milieu management, and coordination of discharge planning and continuity of care.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work from an accredited school of social work or a master’s degree in counseling.
• Licensed or obtaining licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LICSW, LADC, or LMFT.
• Ability to manage a dynamic and sometimes high-risk patient population with professionalism and empathy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.

Nice To Haves

• Inpatient field placement experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to patients, including group therapy and group psychoeducation.
• Provide direction to clinical staff and counseling services teams.
• Document patient treatment and complete and review charts.
• Stay current on clinical best practices in behavioral health treatment.
• Provide crisis intervention and milieu management.
