About The Position

As a member of Bournewood Health Systems’ Outpatient team, the Clinician provides group therapy, group psychoeducation, case management, individual clinical support, and family therapy, as determined by the needs of each case. The role also includes providing direction to clinical staff and counseling services teams, documenting treatment and reviewing patient charts, delivering crisis intervention and milieu management, and coordinating discharge planning and continuity of care across teams. The Clinician is expected to stay current on clinical best practices in behavioral health treatment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work from an accredited School of Social Work or a Master’s in Counseling.
• Licensed as an LMHC, LCSW, LICSW, LADC, or LMFT, or obtaining licensure; pay scale accommodations may be considered depending on licensure.
• Ability to manage a dynamic and sometimes high-risk patient population with professionalism and empathy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.

Nice To Haves

• Inpatient field placement experience preferred.

Responsibilities
