About The Position
Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette (PPCW) is hiring a Clinician to join our Northeast Health Center – Family Planning team. Bilingual Spanish preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply! Requirements
- Current or eligible Oregon licensure as a Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, or Physician Associate.
- Appropriate education, certification, and prescribing authority required for the applicable provider type.
- Ability to provide patient-centered sexual and reproductive health care within the Clinician scope of practice.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with patients and multidisciplinary health care teams.
- Commitment to providing inclusive care to patients from diverse backgrounds and communities.
- Ability and willingness to learn PPCW clinical protocols, practices, and procedures.
Nice To Haves
- Experience providing sexual and reproductive health care.
- Experience in family planning, primary care, women’s health, or a related clinical setting.
- Spanish language skills.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct sexual and reproductive health care while helping patients make informed decisions about their health.
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients across a range of sexual and reproductive health needs.
- Provide contraceptive counseling and management.
- Provide STI screening, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Perform preventive and reproductive health services and procedures within your scope of practice.
- Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate.
- Educate patients and support informed, patient-centered decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with Clinic Assistants, other Clinicians, and members of the health center team.
- Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
- Provide inclusive, trauma-informed care grounded in cultural humility and health equity.
- Ensuring patients receive high-quality, affirming care in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.
