About The Position

The Clinical Veterinarian plays a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and veterinary care within a dynamic research environment. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical and surgical support while partnering with research, operations, and compliance teams to promote ethical, humane, and regulatory‑compliant animal care. The Clinical Veterinarian directly contributes to the success of the animal care and research program by safeguarding animal health, supporting scientific integrity, and fostering a culture of excellence. Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
  • Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in at least one U.S. state.
  • Experience in laboratory animal medicine.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to animal research.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Board certification in laboratory animal medicine (e.g., DACLAM).
  • Experience with research protocols and IACUC processes.
  • Experience in a university research setting.
