As a Clinical Vendor Contract Manager at ICON, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective sourcing of goods and services while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred, with extensive experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Proven experience in managing procurement operations, including vendor negotiation, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage procurement teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in managing procurement budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to driving efficiency and compliance in procurement operations.

  • Willingness to travel as required (approximately 10%)

Responsibilities

  • Managing the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and supplier management.
  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with company goals and ensure cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs and ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring compliance with contracts.
  • Monitoring market trends and conducting supplier assessments to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal regulations, and industry standards throughout the procurement process.
