About The Position

The NewPath Child & Family Solutions Clinical Training Coordinator is responsible for providing high quality and effective training and development support for NewPath team members. The Clinical Training Coordinator will be responsible for creating, developing, and providing training services and support under the oversight of the Training Program Manager and Sr. Director of Clinical Excellence.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a Human Service-related field from an accredited college.
  • Independent Professional license (LPCC required) in good standing at all times to provide clinical services, prefer LPCC-S.
  • Previous mental health therapy experience with an understanding of various mental health diagnoses.
  • Experience providing services to a diverse population of clients.
  • Experience developing and providing clinical training and/or oversight within a community-based behavioral health agency.
  • Must be least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and proof of current automobile insurance.
  • Have a clean driving record with no more than 5 points and be able to pass a background check.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational, writing and documentation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in crisis situation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training and development services to NewPath staff and support providers.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of services that are appropriate for the needs of the persons served and support systems.
  • Maintain appropriate licensure and certifications.
  • Develop and provide Continuing Education Units in accordance with appropriate licensing boards.
  • Develop and implement training plans for clinical positions within the agency.
  • Design trainings based on chart review feedback to ensure high quality services and documentation based on clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Provide diagnostic assessment services for youth and their families, including coverage for open assessments as assigned.
  • Provide mental health services to clients via therapy sessions while following required service guidelines as needed.
  • Create treatment plans in conjunction with the youth and their family based on recommended Care Pathways and Plan for Services.
  • Complete all quality assurance monitoring expectations for evaluation and treatment purposes per program standards.
