The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University is seeking applications for clinical track faculty to advance its teaching and scholarship mission. This role is ideal for doctorally-prepared individuals with experience as nurse educators and a focused area of educational or clinical scholarship. The faculty will teach across a wide array of clinical areas at the pre-licensure level and may have certification and current or recent practice as advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs). Priority will be given to individuals who can teach across programs and/or have demonstrated expertise as educators in higher education. Clinical track faculty will engage in collaborative relationships with Emory’s strong interdisciplinary initiatives in Cardiovascular Health, Data Science, Omics and Genetics/Genomics, Neuroscience, and Palliative Care, as well as with other institutions like Rollins School of Public Health, Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia State University, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Appointments can be made at various clinical track titles and ranks, commensurate with academic and clinical credentials and teaching experience. Candidates for Associate Professor or Professor ranks must have an established track record as an educator with demonstrated excellence in teaching and research/scholarship, including peer-reviewed publications.
