About The Position
Kent State University Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center is seeking candidates for a non-tenure track faculty position. The role involves teaching undergraduate medical-surgical nursing within an ACEN (Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing) accredited associate degree nursing program, specifically at the Twinsburg Academic Center.
Requirements
- Current, active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio
- Master of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited/approved nursing program
- Two years of nursing experience
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in nursing with a specialty in Obstetric and/or Pediatric nursing care
- Previous undergraduate teaching experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Teach in a variety of settings, including lectures, clinicals, skill and simulation labs in medical-surgical nursing in the ADN curriculum
- Employ teaching modalities beyond in-person lectures
