About The Position

Kent State University Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center is seeking candidates
for a non-tenure track faculty position to teach undergraduate medical-surgical
nursing in an ACEN (Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing)
accredited associate degree nursing program at the Twinsburg Academic Center.

Requirements

• Current, active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
• Master of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited/approved nursing program.
• Two years of nursing experience.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in nursing with a specialty in Obstetric and/or Pediatric nursing care.
• Previous undergraduate teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will teach in a variety of settings, including lectures, clinicals, skill and simulation labs in medical-surgical nursing in the ADN curriculum.
• A willingness to employ teaching modalities beyond in-person lectures is required, and relevant prior experience will be welcomed.
