The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University is seeking applications for doctorally prepared clinical track faculty in its Nurse Anesthesia (CRNA) Program. This role is crucial for advancing the School's mission to educate visionary nurse leaders and scholars, generate and apply knowledge, and transform nursing and healthcare systems. The ideal candidate will be a doctorally-prepared Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with experience as a nurse educator and a focused area of educational or clinical scholarship in nurse anesthesia practice. Priority will be given to individuals who can teach across a wide array of clinical topics in nurse anesthesia at the graduate/DNAP level. The position requires current national certification through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Responsibilities include clinical and didactic teaching in areas such as pharmacology, advanced physiology and pathophysiology, principles of anesthesia practice, simulation, and supervised clinical practicum experiences. Expertise in specialty populations/surgeries like pediatrics, obstetrics, or cardiothoracic is highly valued.
