Clinical Technician 1 - Progressive Care Unit
About The Position
Inova Loudoun Hospital – Progressive Care Unit is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team. This schedule for this role will be Full-Time | Days | 6:00AM – 6:30PM | Days Vary | Rotating weekends & holidays. The Clinical Technician 1 provides direct care to patients under the direct supervision of registered nurses. They effectively communicate with team members, patients, and visitors, and maintain professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system. Additional duties may be assigned. The role requires availability for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of virtual orientations, classroom-style sessions, virtual training modules, and on-unit shifts.
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
- Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
