Clinical Team Leader
About The Position
Helio Health is seeking a Clinical Team Leader to provide clinical supervision and oversee the day-to-day operations of substance use disorders/mental health services. This full-time position will be based at Helio Health’s Utica Opioid Treatment Program. The role involves managing program and counseling staff, ensuring participant needs and progress are met, representing the agency in the community, conducting administrative and clinical reviews, and driving process improvement and staff development. The Team Leader will also implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure program record documentation complies with all agency and regulatory standards. A strong understanding of addiction/recovery, behavioral health, self-help group processes, and counseling principles is essential.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in an appropriate program setting.
- Bachelor's Degree minimum requirement.
- Qualified Health Professional status (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, CASAC Advanced etc.) required.
- Valid NYS Driver’s License required.
Nice To Haves
- Master Degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversees program, counseling staff, and the participants’ needs and progress.
- Represents the agency to the community.
- Conducts program administrative review and clinical review.
- Assures continuing process improvement and staff development.
- Implements quality improvement initiatives.
- Assures program record documentation compliance with agency and regulatory standards.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the biopsychosocial process of addiction/recovery, behavioral health, self-help group processes and principles of counseling.
