About The Position

Children’s Nebraska is seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst I to join their IT team. This role involves designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining hospital and/or outpatient clinical IT applications. The analyst will research and correct system and user problems, working with various departments to support practices and implement necessary system changes. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, medical profession, or related field OR Experience may be substituted for education.
  • Must obtain EPIC certification within 9 months of hire and maintain the certification(s) for duration of employment in IT.
  • Incumbents with a professional license must possess and maintain a current/valid license in the state of Nebraska or compact state license (i.e. RN, RT, MA etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Information Technology or healthcare field
  • Previous Epic clinical application experience
  • Previous systems super user and/or trainer experience
  • Willow Inpatient/ Willow Inventory Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, configure, test and maintain clinical applications to accomplish department goals and meet end-user needs.
  • Research, analyze and correct system and user problems in a timely manner.
  • Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and build documentation.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through effective communication.
  • Participate on project teams to define requirements for new and existing systems.
  • Define process flows and make recommendations for efficient application utilization.
  • Analyze and translate workflow requirements into efficient/effective application solutions.
  • Perform integrated testing of current and new vendor functionality.
  • Assist with end-user training and development.
  • Participate in on-call and monthly maintenance activities.
