About The Position
Children’s Nebraska is seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst I to join their IT team. This role involves designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining hospital and/or outpatient clinical IT applications. The analyst will research and correct system and user problems, working with various departments to support practices and implement necessary system changes. Requirements
- Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, medical profession, or related field OR Experience may be substituted for education.
- Must obtain EPIC certification within 9 months of hire and maintain the certification(s) for duration of employment in IT.
- Incumbents with a professional license must possess and maintain a current/valid license in the state of Nebraska or compact state license (i.e. RN, RT, MA etc.).
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 2 years experience in Information Technology or healthcare field
- Previous Epic clinical application experience
- Previous systems super user and/or trainer experience
- Willow Inpatient/ Willow Inventory Certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, configure, test and maintain clinical applications to accomplish department goals and meet end-user needs.
- Research, analyze and correct system and user problems in a timely manner.
- Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and build documentation.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through effective communication.
- Participate on project teams to define requirements for new and existing systems.
- Define process flows and make recommendations for efficient application utilization.
- Analyze and translate workflow requirements into efficient/effective application solutions.
- Perform integrated testing of current and new vendor functionality.
- Assist with end-user training and development.
- Participate in on-call and monthly maintenance activities.
