The MA Clinical Mental Health Counseling: Buddhism-Informed Contemplative Counseling (BICC) concentration seeks a Clinical Support Professional to assist the course instructor for CMHC-604-BA Counseling and Helping Relationships II course for on-campus in class and outside of class meetings. This is a one-semester appointment. This course meets on the Nalanda campus on Wednesdays 2pm-5:20pm from September 9, 2026 through December 11, 2026. This course builds on the content and skills presented in CMHC 603. Topics include crisis intervention, suicide prevention, suicide assessment strategies, as well as the use of psychological first aid. Students continue to develop their theoretical orientation, understanding of the stages of therapeutic relationship, and engage in video-taped practice sessions with supervision and integration of feedback.
