The MA Clinical Mental Health Counseling: Buddhism-Informed Contemplative Counseling (BICC) concentration seeks a Clinical Support Professional to assist the course instructor for CMHC-605-BA Group Counseling course for on-campus in class and outside of class meetings. This is a one-semester appointment. This course meets on the Nalanda campus on Mondays from 12:45pm-4:05pm from September 9, 2026 through December 11, 2026. This course examines the history, theories, models, and research of group counseling and dynamics. Emphasis is placed on clinical mental health group counseling skills and techniques. Instruction includes at least 10 hours of experiential participation as a group member. Students gain experience and practice as a group leader with supervision, feedback, and guidance. Students critically examine group counseling approaches through lenses including diversity, power, and social narratives.
