Clinical Support Nurse LPN - Region 3
About The Position
Midwest Health is looking for a Clinical Support RN who serves as a primary clinical responder and escalation resource, providing real-time guidance, clinical decision-making, and care coordination to assist communities and provide support as needed. This person will work with the Executive Directors and RCCs (Resident Care Coordinator) to do the following: Perform real-time guidance as part of quality assurance and respond to incoming calls and alerts. Manage and document complex clinical situations (falls, change in condition, behaviors). Advise on appropriate level of care and recommend for resident interventions. Communicate with physicians, families, and staff. Document interactions in EMR or other software. Review, assess, educate, and provide guidance on sentinel events and participate in the QAPI program.
Requirements
- Compact/multistate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- 2 years of experience
