The Minneapolis 6th floor is a 33-bed pediatric medical/surgical unit specializing in the care of infants to young adults with various acute and chronic conditions, including cystic fibrosis, respiratory issues, non-critical trauma, neurological conditions, and urological conditions. Our inter-disciplinary teams, including child life, social work, and dietitians, collaborate to provide excellent care in an environment that promotes learning and professional growth.

Requirements

Completed a nursing assistant course or equivalent experience, or completed a nursing or health care related clinical practicum course.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One year of previous Nursing Assistant experience or equivalent experience preferred.
Proficient communication, critical thinking, and prioritization skills required.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English to perform functions of the position.
Skills in basic computer operation.
