The Minneapolis 6th floor is a 33-bed pediatric medical/surgical unit caring for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions in patients from infants to young adults. The unit specializes in conditions such as cystic fibrosis, respiratory issues, non-critical trauma, neurological disorders, and urological conditions. Patients are supported by inter-disciplinary teams including child life specialists, social workers, integrative medicine practitioners, dietitians, and case managers. The unit fosters teamwork, open communication, and a supportive environment for learning and professional growth, with a commitment to excellent patient and family care.
