We are looking for a full-time Clinical Supervisor to join our team. Working hours for this position are 7:00PM - 7:00AM. The Clinical Supervisor will demonstrate a support of the hospital's mission, vision, values, and strategic plan in a team-oriented environment. The Clinical Supervisor also performs all job duties in compliance with laws, regulations, and in observance of accrediting agency standards and related professional organization standards.

Requirements

  • ADN required.
  • Valid State of Ohio Licensure required.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required and may be obtained during the orientation period.
  • NIMS and NIHSS certifications are required and may be obtained within the first year.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred.
  • 3-5 years of healthcare/medical experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
  • Advanced clinical expertise.
  • Actively listening and providing constructive feedback.
  • Relationship building; fostering trust and a safe environment to share mistakes and seek help without fear.
  • Conflict resolution; managing team disagreements and navigating differing professional opinions openly and fairly.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide safe, timely, effective, quality, age appropriate, cost conscious, evidence-based care while utilizing the nursing process and holistic patient care.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills while overseeing overall hospital operations and patient care during the absence of Administration.
  • Move throughout the facility as needed, appropriately assisting in emergency drills and situations.
  • Coordinate patient care as assigned, which includes assessing and interpreting patient care information and data.
  • Effective direct staff and support patient care.
  • Communicate appropriately with unit staff, physicians, ancillary departments, and families.
