About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor, LCSW is a member of the program leadership team, primarily responsible for clinical supervision and professional development of licensed staff providing clinic treatment. The role also oversees implementation of evidence-based or innovative clinical services and models of care, supports timely access to quality clinical services—including during crises—and oversees clinical operations and compliance with Federal, State, City, CARF, and funding-entity requirements. The supervisor identifies gaps in clinical services and develops solutions, leads or oversees implementation of treatment models, and helps clinicians maintain active caseloads and maximize direct-care time. The role develops clinician skills in documentation, time management, organization, individual, group, and family therapy, and interdisciplinary, person-centered treatment planning. It maintains written supervisory notes and may provide direct client services, including intakes and crisis interventions. The supervisor also supports timely access and engagement, supervises crisis intervention, participates in quality improvement and quality assurance, monitors incidents, and oversees clinicians with a combined caseload of up to 350 clients. As a personnel and operations leader, the supervisor participates in hiring and orientation, performance appraisals, staff training, attendance and vacation coverage, and staff supervision as appropriate to licensure. The role facilitates meetings and case conferences, ensures compliance with applicable regulations and standards of care, uses electronic databases to monitor billing and resolve fiscal issues, develops systems to improve operations, and may serve as backup to the Director or other supervisors or assume operational responsibility. This is a hybrid role combining in-person and remote work. Time and locations are determined in collaboration with the Senior Program Director based on program and client needs. Travel is required between program locations and other Jewish Board sites. Locations include Seymour Askin Clinic in Brooklyn and Bronx Counseling (Resource) Center Clinic in the Bronx.
