Requirements

  • CCC-SLP (ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence) and individual NPI number
  • Licensed in a key state (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)
  • Reliable internet connection and comfort with teletherapy platforms
  • Minimum 2 years of post-CF experience in pediatric settings
  • Previous leadership experience required
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems independently
  • Familiarity with insurance-based or Medicaid populations

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an appropriate clinical caseload by conducting evaluations and therapy sessions while adapting to organizational needs.
  • Manage and mentor a team of SLPs through regular 1:1 meetings, clinical coaching, skill development, career growth conversations, and ongoing feedback to foster a supportive, collaborative team culture.
  • Ensure SLPs are effectively utilizing Expressable systems, resources, policies, and best practices while completing required training and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with organizational leaders to resolve clinical concerns, communicate key updates and changes, and ensure SLPs understand and implement company initiatives.
  • Lead monthly meetings focused on clinical excellence, engagement, collaboration, and alignment with Expressable’s model of care.
  • Track and analyze team member performance metrics, including efficiency, quality of care, documentation compliance, and client satisfaction; identify trends and implement data-driven improvement plans when needed.
  • Conduct first-round interviews with SLP candidates to support continued growth of the provider base.
  • Model high-quality care delivery and maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices within the field of speech-language pathology.
